Pixling: Pixel Pet Companion

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Summary

Pixling collects no data whatsoever. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no server. The app contains no networking code at all, so there is no mechanism by which your information could leave your device.

No data collected

We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage data. This is not a policy choice that could quietly change in a build: the app has no networking capability compiled into it. This claim is enforced by an automated test in the project's test suite, so adding a network call would fail the build rather than silently make this page inaccurate.

What is stored, and where

Your pets, coins, achievements, and room layout are saved in the app's own private storage area on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it permanently, because no copy exists anywhere else. There is no backup on our side and no way for us to recover your pet.

Notifications

Notifications are entirely optional and turned off by default. If you choose to enable them, they are scheduled locally on your device to let you know when your pet needs attention, and they stay quiet overnight. No notification data is sent to or through any server.

Permissions

Notifications are the only permission this app can ever ask for, and only if you turn them on yourself. Pixling does not request access to your photos, camera, microphone, location, contacts, health data, or calendar, and contains no code capable of reading any of them.

Third-party services

None. Pixling integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs of any kind.

Children's privacy

Pixling is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy
